Background The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) is a public higher learning institution established under Act No. 3 of 1972. The institution provides training, research, and consultancy services in banking, insurance, social protection, taxation, accountancy, and related disciplines. IFM is accredited by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) and operates six campuses located in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Dodoma, Simiyu, Geita, and Zanzibar. The Institute invites applications from qualified, competent, and dedicated Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions on a one-year contractual basis, renewable. Workstations Dar es Salaam (3), Mwanza (1), Simiyu (1), Geita (1) Required Qualifications Applicants must possess a Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) together with Trade Test II or Level II in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Duties and Responsibilities – Install electrical wires and repair electrical faults. – Connect and install light bulbs and electrical sockets. – Repair electrical equipment. – Test and replace electrical circuits. – Replace damaged cables and install circuit breakers. – Maintain electrical systems. – Inspect electrical installations. – Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
