JOB OPPORTUNITY: PLUMBER (INTERN) Location: Tambala Estate, Mangochi Employer: Tambala Estate Limited Job Type: Internship Programme Job Overview Tambala Estate Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Plumber (Intern) under its Internship Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures and appliances connected to water and gas systems. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures and appliances. Fix leaks, unblock drains and clear blockages. Test pipes and fixtures for leaks and damage. Read and interpret blueprints and technical plans. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems. Install water heaters, toilets and sinks. Repair and maintain sewage systems. Respond to emergency calls and provide 24-hour service when required. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Experience Certificate in Plumbing. Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in carrying out plumbing duties. Must be between 30 and 45 years of age. Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
