Role Description The Comptable will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, updating ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting. The role involves supporting budget monitoring, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The Comptable will collaborate with internal teams, respond to financial queries, and assist with audits and tax-related documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Gasabo District. Qualifications Strong skills in bookkeeping, general accounting, and financial record management. Ability to prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and support budgeting and forecasting. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience in an accounting or finance role; experience in a similar environment is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Gasabo District and manage full-time responsibilities.
