Role Description The Data Enumerator will collect, record, and verify operational and field data related to mining activities, production, and site conditions. This full-time, on-site role is based in Gasabo District and involves working closely with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely data entry into company systems. Daily tasks include conducting field surveys, compiling reports, cleaning and organizing datasets, and flagging any inconsistencies or data quality issues. The Data Enumerator will support data analysis initiatives by preparing structured datasets and summaries that inform operational planning and decision-making. The role also includes maintaining organized records, following data management procedures, and adhering to all safety and compliance guidelines. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Data Analytics and Analytical Skills to interpret collected information and support operational decisions. Candidates should possess Data Management and Data Analysis skills to organize, clean, and maintain accurate datasets and reports. Candidates should possess Data Modeling skills to help structure data for trend analysis and forecasting where required. Candidates should have proficiency in basic computer applications and spreadsheet tools (e. g., Excel or similar software). Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational abilities. Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site mining environment. Candidates should hold a relevant diploma or degree in statistics, data science, geology, mining, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Prior experience in mining, industrial operations, or field data collection is an added advantage.
