We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Operator Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary Sayed Farms Limited, a subsidiary of Agribond Group, is seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Operator to operate and monitor automated feedmill production processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PLC-controlled systems, feed production operations, and troubleshooting industrial equipment to ensure efficient production, consistent feed quality, and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor PLC-controlled feedmill equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production. Control and monitor production processes, including grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting, cooling, and packaging. Monitor control panels, system alarms, process parameters, and equipment performance to identify and resolve operational issues. Troubleshoot PLC-related faults and coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation problems. Ensure accurate ingredient dosing, batching sequences, production recipes, and adherence to approved feed formulations. Maintain production records, batch reports, downtime logs, and other operational documentation. Coordinate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to meet production targets and maintain feed quality standards. Ensure compliance with operational procedures, workplace safety requirements, housekeeping standards, and equipment operating guidelines. Requirements OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related discipline. Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience operating PLC-controlled systems, preferably in feedmill or manufacturing operations. Practical knowledge of PLC systems, industrial control panels, automated production equipment, and process monitoring. Experience with feedmill processes such as grinding, batching, mixing, and pelleting will be an advantage. Ability to identify operational faults, interpret alarms, and coordinate troubleshooting with maintenance personnel. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate production records.
