Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kigali for a Professional Heavy Truck Driver (C+E) operating primarily in Romania and regional routes as required. The driver will safely operate heavy trucks, follow assigned routes, and ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo while complying with all transportation and safety regulations. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, managing basic unloading activities, and maintaining accurate delivery and logbook records. The role involves close coordination with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and clients, as well as adherence to company policies, road safety standards, and applicable national and international regulations. The driver is expected to maintain the vehicle in good working condition, report mechanical issues promptly, and represent the company professionally at all times. Qualifications Strong heavy truck driving capabilities, including Truck Driving experience and safe operation of Truck vehicles. Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent C+E license) and demonstrated ability to handle long-distance and cross-border routes. Knowledge of DOT Regulations or comparable transportation regulations, and commitment to strict compliance with safety and legal requirements. Ability to perform basic Unloading tasks and handle cargo securely, following proper loading and unloading procedures. Clean driving record and proven experience as a professional heavy truck driver. Ability to read and follow route plans, delivery instructions, and safety documentation. Basic mechanical awareness to identify and report vehicle issues and perform simple checks. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or extended shifts when required.
