CHOPPIES JOB VACANCY Job Role: Bakery Assistant Responsibilities To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service. Assist in preparing doughs, batters, and filling for breads, cakes, pastries and other baked goods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace. Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Serve customers; weigh, package, and label bakery items; give advice on baking and preparation. Keep all work areas spotless at all times. Sharpen and clean knives; operate cutting machinery safely for bakery use. Display baked goods attractively in windows or cabinet. Maintaining cleanliness in the work area, assisting with customer service, and ensuring proper labeling and display of bakery products. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Bakery production certification. 1–2 yrs of experience in bakery production. Basic knowledge in bakery/confectioner food preparation. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights. Candidate should be medically fit. Skills, Abilities, Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stay calm and focused. Interpersonal skills. Supervisory skills – ability to train Employees to use time efficiently and to be uncompromising regarding service delivery. Physical Exam Required: Medical Report & Police Clearance Closing Date: 5th October, 2026.
