Spare Parts Coordinator – Heavy Equipment

Location: Tema, Greater Accra Salary: GHC 5,000 – GHC 8,000 per month Job Description Our client, a leading company in the heavy machinery industry, is seeking to recruit an experienced and results-driven Spare Parts Coordinator to join its team in Tema. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating spare parts activities, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring the smooth flow of parts operations from customer enquiry through to delivery. Key Responsibilities Support sales and counter-sales teams with client information, spare parts details, technical data, maintenance parts and service contract information. Coordinate the parts operation from the front desk through to delivery to the client, ensuring a smooth flow of activities. Maintain and update the existing client database. Coordinate with the Aftersales, After Market and Rental teams to achieve business objectives. Maintain a good understanding of the company’s product portfolio. Monitor spare parts stock and follow up on back orders to ensure customer enquiries and requirements are fulfilled. Conduct routine inventory follow-ups to support the availability of required spare parts. Handle parts warranty claims and ensure appropriate follow-up. Ensure proper documentation of relevant activities and transactions on CRM and SAP. Provide timely and accurate reports on relevant activities. Maintain effective relationships with clients and internal departments. Support the achievement of customer service, sales and aftersales objectives. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in parts, service operations, aftersales or sales. Experience in parts and service operations within a heavy machinery dealership is an advantage. Experience in the construction machinery, construction or mining industries will be an advantage. Good knowledge of construction machinery and related products. Excellent presentation, marketing and sales skills. Good interpersonal and networking skills. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good knowledge of the business, competitors and customer markets. Self-motivated and results-driven. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with different departments. Ability to work under diverse working conditions and handle sales pressure. Strong customer service, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English. Ability to drive and possession of a valid driver’s licence.
