Job Description Senior Exploration Geologist – CACB Position Description The Barrick Exploration Team is is proud to be home to leading technical experts. It combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, discovery-driven teams operating in many of the most prospective, world-class Au and Cu exploration districts. We are seeking to recruit a Senior Exploration Geologist to join our Central African Copperbelt team within our regional exploration projects in DRC and Zambia. Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will lead a team of geoscientists in the discovery of new Sediment-hosted copper deposits that add value to the company. Design and contribute to the definition, operational control, and execution of exploration work and activities for projects at all stages of the pipeline. Technically evaluate Exploration projects and recommend new business opportunities with potential for the discovery/acquisition of a gold and/or copper deposit that have a significant impact on the company’s growth. Lead and proactively contribute to the technical development of the Project Geologists team in their reporting line through knowledge transfer, training, and motivation for field exploration.
