We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Chief Finance Officer Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time. About the Role The ideal candidate must be currently working with a bank or financial services and must possess a deep understanding of financial modeling and the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders. The financial manager will be responsible for managing and handling the financial activities and reports of the company. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts. Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and present insights to the executive team. Strategic Growth: Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify opportunities for expansion or cost-saving. Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations while maintaining robust internal controls. Team Leadership: Oversee accounting/accounts payable/receivable teams and foster a culture of professional development. Cash Flow Management: Monitor liquidity and manage investment strategies to optimize company capital. Developing long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with corporate objectives and market trends Develop and enhance internal reporting processes Academic Qualification & Required Experience Possess a bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 in accounting or finance, with 6+ years of continuous experience in finance and 2 years in a managerial position within a banking or financial sector Relevant professional qualification in ICAN or ACCA Must be currently working with a financial or banking institution BankOne Accounting Software knowledge is an added advantage A master’s degree in accounting or finance is an added advantage Knowledge of the use of the BankOne core application is an added advantage Experience in building and maintaining financial models and driving business decision support Advanced level of business and commercial acumen A proven track record of using data to solve complex business problems. Sound financial presentation skills. Experience in preparing professional reports and presentations Good use of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Bankone.
