Position Overview – This role is based in Tamarind. The core purpose of managing the Antenna Massif under the biodiversity offset program is to guarantee the effective execution of conservation initiatives alongside local communities while upholding the “no net loss and net gain” biodiversity principle, aligned with the mitigation hierarchy established by Amatory. This requires creating enabling conditions, including strengthening community support through awareness campaigns, environmental education, forest surveillance, and fostering income-generating alternatives to reduce environmental pressures. The Technical Manager (Antenna Offset) will lead the project, offering technical direction on sustainable landscape management, forest and biodiversity conservation, community financial autonomy, and cross-sectoral partnership development. Additionally, the manager will oversee project administration and operations, ensuring adherence to donor agreements, steering annual work planning, financial and technical reporting, and consistent monitoring and evaluation against the project’s logical framework and indicators. A key responsibility includes ensuring high-quality outcomes through rigorous quality control, collaborating with finance and project teams to develop and track the project budget. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational guidance and supervision at the community level to protect the Antenna Offset site, integrated within the CAN protected area management, while adhering to standards and procedures outlined by the ARMS (Amatory Environment Monitoring System).
• Implement a sustainable landscape approach, focusing on forest protection, biodiversity conservation, community financial independence, and intersectoral partnership development.
• Supervision: Coordinate and oversee staff to ensure the implementation of activities by Conservation International field teams, subcontractors, and contractors in alignment with the annual work plan.
• Finalize and validate Terms of Reference (Tors), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and data sheets for all activities conducted by CI staff, subcontractors, and contractors.
• Reporting and Communication: Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality project reports and communication materials to the donor.
• Financial Monitoring: Track and report on the project’s financial performance, monitor expenditure rates, and support adaptive management decisions. The Technical Manager will report directly to Secteur : Engineering and Information Technology
