WE’RE HIRING: JUNIOR ACCOUNTANTLocation: Kigali, RwandaFull-Time Position ABOUT US: Our factory is adynamically growing manufacturing companyproducing high-quality products for international markets. To support our Group Accountant, we are looking for acommitted, reliable and structured Junior Accountantwho combines accurate data sorting, strong organizational skills and strong practical implementation skills. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working acrossaccounting, tax compliance, payroll, import/export operations and inventory managementwithin a manufacturing environment. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: As a Junior Accountant, you will play an important role as the central interface between the Tax Advisor, CEO, Group Accountant and Production Department, ensuring accurate and well-organised financial coordination across the company. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Recording and maintaining financial transactions, including bank and cash transactions, invoices, receipts and supporting documents using Zoho accounting software Managing accounts payable and receivable, payment requests and related financial documentation Supporting payroll processing, wage payments, deductions and social security contributions Preparing financial reports and supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and balance sheets Preparing VAT, PAYE, RSSB and other statutory and tax reports for review and submission Managing petty cash, reconciliations and regular financial reporting Supporting audits and other financial reviews Preparing, checking and managing import and export documentation, including customs documentation and audit Coordinating customs-clearance processes and communicating with freight forwarders and customs authorities Monitoring shipments and compliance with relevant import and export requirements Managing and monitoring stock records, material movements and inventory Preparing stock statistics, consumption analyses and reconciliations required for internal reporting and relevant authorities Coordinating with Production, Warehouse, Logistics and Procurement to ensure accurate financial and stock information Supporting the implementation and improvement of accounting and stock-control systems Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable financial, tax and regulatory requirements YOUR PROFILEMinimum Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum 3 years of experience as a Junior Accountant in the manufacturing industry Experience in finance and accounting for multinational companies Experience using e-banking systems Practical exposure to taxation, payroll and financial reporting Experience with inventory/stock accounting and import/export processes is an advantage Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels. Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to take responsibility, work independently and respond effectively to changing priorities Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing priorities in a busy, fast-paced and challenging environment with minimal supervision, effectively managing multiple tasks Positive and flexible approach to work with good leadership skills.
