MAINTENANCE OFFICER (1) Type of Employment – Permanent and Pensionable Location – Livingstone Museum, Livingstone Job Purpose To undertake maintenance works and facilitate outsourcing of all other maintenance and repair works of the Museum infrastructure in order to provide a conducive environment. Main Duties ▫ Carries out effectively basic maintenance work to museum buildings and equipment in order to keep them in good condition ▫ Ensures the timely maintenance and repairs of furniture and all office equipment in order to restore them to their working condition ▫ Arranges for timely hire of specialized services in order to ensure that adequate maintenance services are provided. ▫ Compiles timely maintenance reports relating to his/her job for the attention and action of the Assistant Administrative Officer.
