Le rôle
Le candidat retenu dispensera des cours d'anglais et de littérature de haute qualité conformes au programme Cambridge IGCSE, en inspirant les élèves afin qu'elles développent leur esprit critique, leur créativité et de solides compétences en communication.
Responsabilités principales
Planifier et dispenser des leçons engageantes alignées sur le programme Cambridge IGCSE English. Préparer efficacement les élèves aux examens IGCSE (English Language and Literature). Cultiver le goût de la lecture, de l'écriture et de la pensée analytique. Évaluer, suivre et rendre compte des progrès des élèves conformément aux standards de l'école et de Cambridge. Différencier l'enseignement pour répondre aux besoins d'apprenants divers. Contribuer au développement du curriculum et aux activités d'enrichissement (par exemple, débat, clubs d'écriture). Maintenir des standards élevés de gestion de classe et de discipline des élèves. Participer aux événements de l'école, aux tâches pastorales et à la vie de l'internat lorsque cela est requis.

Licence en anglais, littérature ou dans un domaine connexe (un master est un atout). Qualification d'enseignement reconnue (par exemple PGCE, QTS ou équivalent). Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement de l'IGCSE English dans une école britannique ou internationale. Solide connaissance du curriculum Cambridge et des standards d'évaluation. Excellente maîtrise de l'anglais écrit et parlé. Passion pour l'enseignement et le mentorat de jeunes filles. Fortes compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles.
Atouts appréciés : expérience de l'anglais au niveau A-Level ; expérience en environnement d'internat ; résultats avérés en IGCSE.
