We are looking for a commercially driven Head of VIP to build and lead our VIP function across African markets. You will own the strategy, team, budget, operating model, and performance of the VIP customer base. This role combines commercial leadership with strong governance, ensuring sustainable VIP growth while maintaining the highest standards of responsible gambling and regulatory compliance YOUR IMPACT: Own the regional VIP strategy and commercial performance, including NGR growth, retention, profitability, and bonus efficiency. Build, lead, and coach a multi-market team of VIP Account Managers, setting clear targets and performance standards. Define a scalable VIP operating model covering segmentation, tiering, onboarding, CRM usage, offers, and escalation processes. Manage the VIP budget across bonuses, hospitality, events, and travel, allocating investment based on ROI. Lead VIP governance across responsible gambling, AML, source-of-funds requirements, and high-value approvals. Partner with Product, Trading, CRM, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Marketing to improve the VIP proposition. Provide leadership with clear reporting and insights on VIP performance, churn, migration, and team results. OUR REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of VIP or high-value customer management experience within sports betting, casino, or i Gaming, including 2+ years leading a team. Proven ownership of VIP commercial performance, a P&L, or a significant revenue portfolio. Strong experience hiring, coaching, and managing teams across multiple markets or locations. Deep understanding of sportsbook or casino products, bonusing, player value, retention, and CRM-led engagement. Practical knowledge of responsible gambling, AML, source-of-funds, and regulated gaming environments. A data-driven, ownership-focused mindset with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Experience in African or other emerging i Gaming markets is highly advantageous. Fluency in English and knowledge of an additional language is considered an advantage.
