Role Description The Research and Development Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting the design, testing, and improvement of chemical formulations across cleaning, hygiene, cosmetics, herbal, and advanced chemical products. Day-to-day tasks include conducting literature and market research, planning and analyzing experiments, and documenting findings in clear technical reports and presentations. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to translate research outcomes into practical manufacturing processes and product improvements. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting quality and safety standards, and contributing ideas to the R&D roadmap. Qualifications Strong Research and Development (R&D) skills, including the ability to design, execute, and optimize experimental studies. Solid Analytical Skills for interpreting data, troubleshooting formulations, and drawing evidence-based conclusions. Effective Communication skills for reporting results, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and presenting technical information clearly. Practical Laboratory Skills for handling chemicals, following safety protocols, and using standard lab equipment and methods. Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related scientific field. Familiarity with formulation development in cleaning, hygiene, cosmetics, or herbal products is an advantage. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours, and prioritize multiple tasks responsibly. Experience with documentation, quality standards, and regulatory considerations in chemical manufacturing is beneficial.
