Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, he/she will have e responsibility for all the HR issues for his /her subsidiary(ies).
With strong organizational and management skills, he/she will have to:
Define Group policy and objectives in human resources and recruiting, in coordination with the operating mangers,
Develop a policy to retain and attract talent, implement a people review and talent management,
Develop performance evaluation procedures,
Be in charge of the organizational development, of relations with employees, the IRP, the CE, the CHSCT, etc.
Structure internal communications,
Establish a compensation and benefits policy, and a bonus policy in line with the objectives of the group,
Share his/her expertise in human resources with the managers,
Plan and manage the HR budget,
Ensure legal compliance for HR in Algeria
Relying on a close-knit team, he/she will guide co-workers toward a common objective. To do this he/she has to manage, delegate, listen and motivate the team. His/her social role is essential: he/she must do everything possible to maintain a good corporate environment, cooperation and pride of service that guides the teams and the rest of the company.
Profil recherché
Graduate in business, law or human resources, in France or in Algeria. He/she must have at least 6 years of experience in an equivalent function within an international group, ideally foreign.
His/her sense of initiative and relevance will allow him/her to advise the executives on key issues, such as: the preservation of the social climate, recruiting, career management and employee loyalty.
He/she must show real intelligence: common sense, ability to react, availability.
He/she shall bring to the company expertise in performance management, in compensation and benefits policy and in social relationships management.
He/she must have an acute knowledge of Algeria and local labor law.
His/her management role is essential. Endowed with natural authority, he/she must structure or improve the work organization. He/she must maintain a good social climate by promoting the idea of commitment and teamwork, as well as meeting the Group’s expectations in industrial hygiene and safety.
In summary, the candidate must:
Do what he says and say what he does;
Be a delegator, good manager, charismatic leader, knowing how to motivate the teams, and earn the respect of internal customers;
Be a man or woman of integrity, who is reliable and keeps his/her commitments;
Be a hard worker;
Be a self-starter; providing energy for the team;
Be open minded, going beyond individual situations or people.
