Join a major player in Mass Distribution and International Trade! Our client is a recognized leader in the distribution of high-quality products in Central Africa, successfully operating in local and international markets. To strengthen its sales team, our client is looking for an experienced Sales Representative, specialized in tires for its Hardware Department in Douala. This role is essential to energize the market, develop revenue, and ensure excellent coverage of the area. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Department Head/Sales Supervisor, the incumbent will have direct responsibility for the sales performance in their sector. Their main responsibilities will be:
- Sales and Business Development: Prospecting: Identify, prospect, and convert new clients (Shops, Garages, Fleets, Distributors, etc.) in the allocated area. Customer Loyalty: Manage, visit, and maintain trust-based relationships with existing customers to guarantee satisfaction and optimize recurring order volumes. Negotiation: Effectively present products, negotiate prices and commercial terms while respecting the company's margins, and finalize orders.
- Achieving Targets and Reporting: Performance: Achieve the quantitative and qualitative sales targets set by the Sales Management. Reporting: Write regular activity reports (visits, prospecting, sales) and relay relevant field information.
- Market Intelligence and Compliance: Market Watch: Gather information on competitors' prices and promotional activities. Compliance: Ensure accurate tracking of customer accounts receivable and strictly adhere to internal policies and procedures, particularly regarding order management and collections.
