Kutwila Media & Marketing Limited, a dynamic player in the Zambian print and branding industry, is seeking a seasoned and meticulous Sales and Large Format Machine Operator to join its high-performance production team in Lusaka.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining large-format digital printing equipment to deliver top-tier branding materials. Your duties will span the entire production cycle—from generating print leads and acquiring embroidery clients to overseeing artwork preparation, printing, and final finishing. You will ensure precision, colour consistency, and timely execution of all print jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate large format print leads and clients. Operate and maintain large format printers (eco-solvent, UV, sublimation, or latex). Prepare, adjust, and optimise print-ready designs using design and RIP software. Load and manage various print media, including vinyl, PVC banners, canvas, fabric, and stickers. Monitor print output to guarantee colour accuracy, sharpness, and consistency. Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and maintenance of printing machines. Troubleshoot machine errors to minimise downtime. Cut, laminate, mount, and finish printed materials as required. Keep the workspace and machines clean, organised, and operational. Maintain proper documentation of production jobs and media usage. Work efficiently to meet deadlines while upholding Kutwila’s high-quality standards.
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience in large-format printing operations. Proficiency in design software such as CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with RIP software, including FlexiPRINT, ONYX, or Photoprint. Ability to generate large format print leads and clients. Capability to create, edit, and finalise print-ready designs. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Honest, sober-minded, and highly self-motivated. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and reliability. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
