Project Site Civil Supervisor Bamzee Engineering Company Limited Various project sites across Uganda Engineering Science & Engineering, Construction Reports To: Project Manager / Site Engineer Location: Various project sites across Uganda (nationwide mobility required) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Bamzee Engineering is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Project Site Civil Supervisor to oversee civil works on infrastructure projects, with a focus on electricity transmission and distribution substation civil infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that site civil works are executed to specification, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Qualifications and Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in the field. With a minimum of five years of direct, on-site project supervision experience, the ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in managing construction or development projects from inception to completion. Experience overseeing civil infrastructure projects for electricity transmission or distribution substations is highly desirable. Registered as a Graduate Member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (PIPE), the candidate is also in the process of obtaining full registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERA). Demonstrates a strong willingness and capability to undertake travel and be assigned to project sites across various locations throughout Uganda. A valid driving permit serves as an additional asset for candidates. Proficiency with industry-standard software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office, is considered a beneficial qualification for this role. Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with established protocols. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and performance across assigned responsibilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts with organizational objectives and foster a cohesive work environment. Prepare detailed reports, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies while maintaining meticulous documentation. Address and resolve operational challenges proactively, optimizing processes to meet evolving business demands. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, facilitating professional growth and accountability through clear expectations and constructive feedback.
