Mimshach Engineering Consultants Ltd., a consulting and project management firm, is looking for an IT Engineer to manage its websites, provide IT support, and handle graphic design tasks, including for its flagship event, the Energy Forum for Africa (EFFA).
Key responsibilities include updating and maintaining company and event websites, designing graphics and digital content such as flyers, banners, social media visuals, and presentation templates in line with the organization's branding, providing day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, supporting digital systems for events and conferences including registration and technical needs on the day, ensuring website security, uptime, and performance with backups and updates, managing domain, hosting, and email server administration, and coordinating with communications and programme teams on branding and digital content.
Candidates should have a BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, proven experience in website management or development (WordPress or similar CMS preferred), proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, or CorelDRAW, a strong understanding of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and general IT support, good knowledge of website security and data protection practices, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
