Project Coordinator (Syria - Aleppo “Azaz”)

We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team in Syria, based in Aleppo (Azaz). This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Country Program Coordinator. In this role, you will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery, quality outputs, and compliance with organizational and donor requirements. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution.

Key duties involve assisting in the development of project work plans, timelines, and budgets; coordinating day-to-day project activities to ensure alignment with objectives; supporting timely implementation of project deliverables and milestones; serving as a focal point for communication between teams, partners, and stakeholders; organizing meetings, workshops, and coordination events; preparing minutes, action points, and following up on commitments; supporting budget tracking and expenditure monitoring; and assisting in preparing financial forecasts and reports.

To be successful in this role, you should hold a degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, an institute in medical science, or a related field. We require a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in project implementation. Experience working with NGOs, UN agencies, or international organizations is considered an asset. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as are excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You must be capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines, and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
