We are seeking a results-driven Transportation Coordinator to serve as the operational foundation of our Rwanda program, ensuring the safety, availability, and cost-efficiency of our vehicle fleetâincluding trucks, motorcycles, and carsâso that field teams consistently receive critical supplies. In this role, you will oversee transportation networks and vendor relationships, building and sustaining a dependable transport ecosystem to meet nationwide operational demands. Responsibilities include managing transporter onboarding, contract compliance, and performance tracking; coordinating assignments, loading operations, and delivery documentation; and optimizing fleet utilization through strategic vehicle leasing, fuel distribution, and route planning. You will lead data-driven performance monitoring, developing dashboards and reports to track utilization, delivery efficiency, cost control, fuel consumption, and other key indicators. By analyzing trends and operational patterns, you will uncover cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements. Your expertise in geographic intelligenceâincluding road networks, site accessibility, and infrastructure constraintsâwill inform route optimization and contingency strategies to minimize disruptions. Additionally, you will foster team capability through targeted training, document best practices, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and safety across all transportation activities.
