This position involves overseeing general maintenance duties, performing daily repairs on equipment and facilities, and assisting with specialized projects such as rebuilding pumps, motors, and other mechanical systems as required. Responsibilities may also include managing hazardous materials, waste disposal, water treatment processes, and conducting inspections. Essential Duties: Adhere to established safety protocols during all routine and non-routine maintenance activities. Conduct preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and complete all necessary documentation accurately. Diagnose equipment malfunctions, determine appropriate solutions, and execute repairs as needed. Utilize equipment blueprints, diagrams, and other technical references to guide inspections, repairs, and proper equipment operation. Maintain detailed records of ongoing and completed tasks and uphold a tidy workspace. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education. A minimum of two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting, is necessary. Familiarity with quality management systems is preferred. Candidates must be certified or eligible for forklift operation certification and respirator certification. Completion of Hazardous Waste (RCRA) Intermediate-level training is mandatory.
