Job Title: Human Resource Intern Department: Human Resources Reporting To: HR Officer Purpose of the Role To support the Human Resources Department with contract administration, employee records management, and general HR administrative functions while gaining practical workplace experience. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing, issuing, and renewing employee contracts. Maintain and update employee records in the ERP/HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. File and archive HR documents such as contracts, letters, and personnel files (both physical and electronic). Track contract expiry dates and support timely renewals. Assist with on-boarding documentation for new employees. Support HR officers with basic payroll inputs and employee data verification where required. Respond to basic employee queries and direct them appropriately. Assist with HR reports, data entry, and audits of employee files. Support general HR administrative tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Full Grade 12 Certificate (With English and Mathematics) Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field. Basic knowledge of HR processes and employment contracts. Computer literacy, particularly in MS Word and Excel; ERP/HRIS exposure is an added advantage. Key Competencies and Skills Good attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
