The PET Strap Production (Extrusion) Line Technician is tasked with operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PET extrusion machinery to uphold efficient production processes, maintain high product quality, and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols. Conducts a wide array of tasks encompassing operational oversight, strategic planning, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Collaborates with cross-functional departments to align processes and enhance productivity, while maintaining strict adherence to compliance standards and company policies. Analyzes performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implements corrective measures, where necessary. Supervises staff, fosters professional development, and assigns responsibilities to optimize workflow and achieve departmental goals. Ensures seamless communication with stakeholders to facilitate transparency and accountability in all initiatives. Operate and oversee PET extrusion machinery and associated auxiliary systems. Set and configure machine parameters to ensure products meet specified requirements. Perform regular quality assurance inspections on PET straps and associated products to ensure adherence to established standards. Execute corrective and preventive maintenance activities while diagnosing and resolving equipment faults. Diligently track raw material consumption to ensure efficient utilization while actively seeking strategies to reduce waste production throughout manufacturing processes. Ensure meticulous documentation of production data and machine performance metrics to uphold accuracy and reliability in all records.

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of related professional experience are required. A minimum of a certificate, diploma, or technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or an equivalent discipline is required. Requirements include at least two years of hands-on experience running extrusion machinery within an industrial production setting. Proficiency in PET tightening strap production or extrusion processes is essential for this role. Knowledgeable in mechanical systems, quality control protocols, and industrial safety standards. Proficient in a range of technical and soft skills, with a strong emphasis on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
