Person Specifications a) Qualifications A PhD in Political Science from an accredited institution is required. A master’s degree in Arts, Social Sciences, or Public Administration from an accredited institution is required. A recognized awarding institution must confer a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a Political Science specialization or a Bachelor of Public Administration also with a Political Science specialization, preferably awarded with First Class or Upper Second-Class Honors. b) Experience Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of instructional experience, including at least two years in a Lecturer role at an accredited higher education institution. Applicants must possess a minimum of three (3) recent publications in their field of expertise, specifically as either the primary or corresponding author, within the past five (5) years. Candidates must demonstrate prior experience overseeing the successful completion of at least three graduate students’ programs. Demonstrated history of providing strong academic leadership and guidance. A strong command of relevant skills and expertise is essential for this role, ensuring all tasks are performed with precision and efficiency.
