Oversee key responsibilities and operational duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Execute a range of tasks encompassing strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive performance and innovation. Maintain rigorous adherence to compliance protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a liaison between departments, stakeholders, and leadership to facilitate seamless communication, resolve escalated issues, and support decision-making processes. Monitor progress through regular assessments, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to optimize workflows and achieve measurable outcomes. This role aims to expand the bank’s client base while strengthening existing corporate/commercial relationships in alignment with its business development strategy to achieve sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new-to-bank business to meet sales targets, as well as nurturing and servicing an existing portfolio to ensure clients receive tailored banking solutions that meet their evolving needs. The position requires regular on-site engagements to assess customer operations, property, and collateral, followed by detailed call reports for management review. Additionally, the role involves recommending tailored solutions to meet customer expectations while ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures. The position demands proactive market analysis to interpret customer demands and deliver integrated product solutions that align with bank policies, while also contributing to product development initiatives. To enhance client retention, the role serves as a single point of contact, delivering superior service standards and fostering long-term relationships. Collaborating with the Product Development Team and other stakeholders, the role will refine sales strategies to address dynamic customer requirements. Monitoring risk triggers, covenants, and credit facility conditions is essential, along with initiating recovery actions for underperforming accounts. The role also focuses on acquiring new clients, reactivating dormant relationships, and recommending viable risk assets to drive profitability. Further responsibilities include tracking customer investment and facility tenures, tailoring solutions specifically for the Oil & Gas sector, and maintaining frequent executive engagement within the industry. Meeting and exceeding revenue, PBT, assets, guarantees, deposits, and forex targets is a core expectation, alongside conducting industry and regulatory research to enhance the bank’s customer value proposition and mitigate risks. The role involves evaluating credit applications, drafting credit memos in accordance with the bank’s credit policy, and proposing recommendations for approval. A thorough understanding of all bank policies—particularly credit, HR, and operational guidelines—is necessary to execute responsibilities effectively. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, alongside a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management and system architecture. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team are critical. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems, including Git, is also necessary. To excel in this role, you will be expected to deliver measurable results by meeting the predetermined performance benchmarks, including achieving sector-specific profit-before-tax targets, fulfilling annual objectives across deposits, risk asset growth, fee and commission revenue, client conversion rates, reactivation of dormant accounts, and other key metrics. Additionally, you will be responsible for cultivating productive banking relationships, maintaining a sustainable and high-yielding risk asset portfolio, and ensuring the steady expansion and quality of assets under management. Equally important is the timely and accurate preparation and submission of performance reports. Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a social science discipline or a business-related field from a recognized institution, with advanced degrees such as an MBA or professional certifications viewed favorably. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience within a banking environment is required. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of banking operations, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks, along with expertise in corporate and commercial banking, a deep familiarity with banking products and services, and strong business development and client acquisition capabilities. Strong credit analysis, marketing acumen, and relationship management skills are essential. Proven competencies include the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with minimal oversight, consistently exceed business targets, and accurately assess customer needs to recommend tailored financial solutions. You should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and IT proficiency, alongside well-developed selling and marketing capabilities. The role demands a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, a keen awareness of the broader business landscape, meticulous attention to detail, robust reasoning and analytical abilities, and a natural aptitude for networking.
