We are seeking a Client Onboarding Analyst for a full-time position, requiring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. This is a trainee professional role that demands a good knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems, along with a basic understanding of underlying concepts. You will make evaluative judgments based on factual information, resolve problems by applying acquired technical experience, and be guided by precedents. Strong communication skills, sensitivity to audience diversity, and the ability to exchange information concisely are essential. The role has limited but direct impact on business through the quality of tasks and services provided.
What you'll do:
Process client requests related to system setup, including signatory updates and documentation lodgment. Cooperate with internal partners to perform systems maintenance based on documentation for account opening and maintenance. Provide responses to client and internal inquiries. Prepare documentation for archiving. Apply appropriate bank regulations while processing requests. Stay up-to-date with current procedures, internal rules, and external regulations, and follow changes. Document operation procedure updates. Process client instructions with high accuracy and effectiveness, ensuring deadlines are met. Verify and authorize data entered in systems. Ensure all queries are handled efficiently and timely. Escalate urgent or risk issues through appropriate channels. Cooperate with and support other teams as instructed, including possible movement to another team or process. Perform other crucial tasks such as participating in trainings, projects, conference calls, and systems testing. Ensure high client satisfaction through strong product, process, and client knowledge, and identify and suggest process improvements. Assist in implementing validated process improvements. Understand procedures and controls for operational processes, support the manager with quality assurance, and perform within departmental procedures and compliance standards to minimize losses. Coordinate projects around internal processes and participate in user acceptance testing of new systems. Execute day-to-day responsibilities effectively and any other work instructed by the supervisor. Deliver routine and defined tasks daily while developing knowledge of the broader context. Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues transparently.
What we will need from you:
Previous experience in financial services is preferred. Knowledge of bank products in the scope of opening and maintaining bank accounts. Customer communication experience (internal/external). Knowledge in finance and banking. Flexibility, team spirit, loyalty, high attention to detail, good PC skills (Excel, Word), fluency in written and spoken English, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
