TWIKASMM, a dynamic media and creative services company headquartered in Remora, Kigali, specializes in transforming concepts and unrefined visual assets into compelling, premium-quality content. Our approach integrates video storytelling, editorial precision, visual design, motion graphics, and post-production to deliver content that communicates effectively, captivates audiences, and aligns with broader marketing and communication objectives. We prioritize creativity, dependability, teamwork, and meticulous craftsmanship. As our organization expands, we seek individuals eager to refine their expertise, contribute innovative ideas, and take ownership of the excellence in their deliverables. We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team in Remora, Kigali. This is a full-time, on-site role with a primary focus on long-form, meticulously produced content. Your responsibilities will involve refining raw footage, interviews, narration, B-roll, archival material, music, graphics, and visual assets into refined, engaging final productions. This position demands more than technical editing; we seek an editor who comprehends narrative flow, pacing, rhythm, sound design, color theory, visual coherence, and audience engagement—someone who can evaluate a rough sequence and elevate it substantially. Your responsibilities will include: Editing & Storytelling Transform raw footage into cohesive, refined sequences. Develop robust narrative frameworks using interviews, narration, B-roll, archival footage, and supplementary assets. Establish compelling pacing for extended-form projects. Make deliberate choices regarding what to retain, omit, reorder, or highlight. Leverage B-roll purposefully to enhance storytelling rather than merely filling gaps. Visual & Post-Production Apply seamless transitions, graphics, effects, color correction, and grading. Ensure visual uniformity across diverse footage and sources. Incorporate motion graphics and other visual elements into the edit. Prepare technically accurate final exports tailored to varying delivery specifications. Sound Design Enhance and balance dialogue and other audio components. Collaborate with music, ambient sounds, and sound effects. Understand how audio contributes to pacing, emotional impact, and continuity. Workflow & Collaboration Maintain meticulous organization of footage, assets, timelines, and project files. Collaborate closely with producers, videographers, designers, and other team members. Receive and implement feedback efficiently while managing revisions. Adhere to deadlines without compromising quality standards. Requirements We Experienced in Da Vinci Resolve, the candidate will leverage its advanced color grading, editing, and visual effects capabilities to deliver exceptional post-production results. Proficiency in this industry-standard software is essential, as the role requires seamless integration with other creative workflows and meticulous attention to detail in color correction and finishing. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability to project-specific demands, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality throughout the editing process. Cap Cut is hiring a professional dedicated to enhancing video content through meticulous editing. This role requires expertise in utilizing the Cap Cut application to craft visually compelling and engaging videos. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities include trimming clips, synchronizing audio, applying transitions, and incorporating special effects to produce high-quality final cuts. Familiarity with industry-standard editing techniques and a portfolio demonstrating previous work are essential. Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also required to ensure projects align with creative and strategic objectives. You need not be an expert across every platform—proficiency in After Effects and motion graphics is a notable advantage, as our projects frequently blend traditional editing with advanced visual effects. Sound design expertise is equally prized. In reviewing work samples, we prioritize portfolios that demonstrate compelling storytelling and editorial precision, including seamless pacing, strategic B-roll integration, consistent visual flow, refined color grading, and polished audio. Equally important is the thoughtful incorporation of graphics or motion when it serves the narrative. A meticulously crafted, simple edit with compelling storytelling outweighs an overly effects-driven edit lacking structure. Ideal candidates exhibit a keen eye for detail, recognizing subtle flaws such as timing issues in cuts, mismatches between B-roll and narration, or discordant music that undermines the story—then taking initiative to resolve them. We seek editors who go beyond the basics, asking not just how to edit but how to elevate the final product. While a background in film, media, communication, design, or a related discipline may be beneficial, we place greater emphasis on tangible skills and experience. Relevant qualifications may include professional roles, freelance projects, internships, personal work, or a standout portfolio. - •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
- •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
- •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
- •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
- •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
- •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
