Software Implementations Consultant Intern

About the Role
Future Kenya is looking for a talented and motivated Software Implementations Consultant Intern to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will support the implementation, training, and support of ERP and accounting software solutions while working with clients and gaining practical experience in technology consulting. This is an internship-to-full-time opportunity for an individual who has a strong accounting background and is interested in building a career in ERP implementation, accounting software, business systems, and technology consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and configuration of ERP and accounting software solutions. Assist consultants with client onboarding and implementation activities. Participate in gathering client requirements and understanding business processes. Assist with data preparation, migration, validation, and management. Support testing of ERP modules and business processes. Assist with financial and management reporting. Support client training and user enablement. Assist with client queries and implementation support. Prepare project documentation, user guides, and implementation materials. Work closely with the consulting team to ensure successful project delivery. Develop practical knowledge of ERP systems, accounting software, databases, and business processes.
Mandatory Qualification
CPA (K) PART 3, SECTION 6 – MUST HAVE. This is a strict and non-negotiable requirement for the position. Candidates must have successfully completed CPA (K) Part 3, Section 6. Please do not apply if you have not completed CPA (K) Part 3, Section 6.
Additional Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field is an added advantage. Fresh graduates who have completed their internship may be considered. Strong academic foundation in accounting and financial concepts.
Requirements
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes. Understanding of bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting. Knowledge of or interest in accounting software and ERP systems.
Skills Required
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Good organisational and planning skills. Willingness to learn new software systems and technologies. Ability to work professionally with clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be based in Nairobi.
