Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and motivate maintenance staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to college policies Schedule and carry out routine inspections, repairs, and emergency fixes for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems. Ensure academic blocks and outdoor areas are well-maintained, safe and functional. Supervise external contractors, inspect their work, and enforce compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety working practices, and oversee compliance checks (Fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, etc.) Monitor electricity and water usage; recommend improvements for efficiency and sustainability. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, prepare reports, and update ticketing systems for transparency. Oversee janitorial and gardening staff to maintain cleanliness, order, and beautification of college grounds. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Qualifications and Experience. Full Grade 12 Certificate. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field Must have a valid Driver’s License Minimum of three (3) years of work experience.
