JM Turnkey Construction Limited is in search of a Zambian Engineering Coordinator to facilitate seamless collaboration between our Chinese project team and local staff. The preferred candidate must possess a basic proficiency in Mandarin and exceptional communication abilities. Key Responsibilities Facilitate effective dialogue and information exchange between Chinese Project Managers and local staff members to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on project objectives. Craft daily construction task lists and ensure their effective dissemination to relevant stakeholders. Monitor project advancement, address any quality concerns, and ensure all pending tasks are completed in a timely manner. Prepared daily reports, compiled meeting notes, and maintained comprehensive action lists to ensure efficient tracking and follow-up of key initiatives. Gather comprehensive site photographs and pertinent construction data for documentation and analysis purposes. Collaborate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with established timelines and specifications. Provide support in monitoring materials and coordinating delivery schedules. Conduct site inspections and engage in various project management tasks to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines. Requirements As a prerequisite for this position, candidates must possess a degree from a Zambian university and have completed their studies in China. Preferably studied in one of the following: Civil Engineering Construction Management Other relevant construction-related engineering or program disciplines may also be considered. Proficiency in basic Chinese language skills, including comprehension and verbal communication, is desirable. Accomplishes tasks with a high degree of self-organization and effectively conveys information through clear, concise communication. Demonstrates a proactive approach to working on-site and contributing to the ongoing operational tasks.
