This position encompasses the evaluation, diagnosis, management, rehabilitation, and prevention of musculoskeletal and functional impairments or disabilities stemming from both occupational and non-occupational sources. The successful candidate will facilitate evidence-based return-to-work strategies by conducting Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA’s), developing tailored rehabilitation plans, implementing workplace conditioning and hardening programs, executing ergonomic interventions, and spearheading initiatives to prevent injuries and diseases. The Occupational Health Physiotherapist will collaborate with the Primary Care Physiotherapist, offsite Occupational Health Physiotherapists, and the work rehabilitation team to ensure seamless continuity of physiotherapy and rehabilitation care for the employee population. While the Occupational Health Physiotherapist retains responsibility for occupational rehabilitation, functional work capacity evaluations, work conditioning, and return-to-work outcomes, the Primary Care Physiotherapist may deliver specialized physiotherapy interventions, provide access to advanced rehabilitation equipment, and offer treatment services not available at the onsite facility. All roles will function within a structured rehabilitation framework to maximize employee recovery and facilitate sustained work participation. The Occupational Health Physiotherapist collaborates closely with Occupational Health Doctors, the FQM Fitness & Rehabilitation Coordinator, Specialist Work Rehabilitation Support, Specialist Fitness, Gym & Wellness teams, offsite Occupational Health Physiotherapy Teams (OPT), and Primary Care Physiotherapists to drive workforce health initiatives, minimize disability, enhance work readiness, and maximize rehabilitation and fitness outcomes. Key Role Accountabilities Clinical Physiotherapy Services Oversee and administer physiotherapy services for staff members, ensuring they meet the highest professional standards. Craft and execute physiotherapy treatment plans grounded in the latest evidence-based practices. We provide a range of physiotherapy services, such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, soft tissue mobilization and therapeutic massage, ultrasound therapy, hydrotherapy, and functional rehabilitation. Occupational rehabilitation and return-to-work programs are designed to assist individuals in safely resuming their professional duties following an injury, illness, or disability. These services prioritize personalized recovery plans, focusing on restoring functional capacity while mitigating risks in the workplace. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, collaborating with healthcare providers, employers, and insurers, and implementing tailored rehabilitation strategies. Additionally, the role involves monitoring progress, facilitating necessary accommodations, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and legal requirements. Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of occupational health principles are essential for success in this field. Collaborate with the Primary Physiotherapist to align rehabilitation activities and schedule progress reviews for employees undergoing offsite or specialized physiotherapy services. Provide expert physiotherapy guidance to inform occupational rehabilitation strategies and facilitate effective return-to-work initiatives. Oversee the progress and rehabilitation outcomes of employees undergoing treatment through the MBHS physiotherapy services to ensure they achieve work readiness. Facilitate seamless transitions in care for employees moving between onsite occupational health rehabilitation services and offsite physiotherapy treatment pathways to uphold continuity of treatment. Collaborate with the FQM Fitness & Rehabilitation Coordinator and Work Rehabilitation Support Specialist to design and execute impactful occupational rehabilitation programs. Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (Faces) and Functional Job Assessments (Fas) as part of your duties. Compose impartial, data-driven reports tailored for review by Occupational Health Doctors. Assist in assessing employees’ fitness for duty, physical work capabilities, and any applicable work restrictions. Facilitate graduated return-to-work initiatives and work conditioning & hardening programs. Engage in employee rehabilitation evaluations and collaborative multidisciplinary case management meetings. Observe and evaluate rehabilitation advancements, subsequently proposing modifications to treatment strategies when deemed necessary. Injury Prevention and Employee Wellness initiatives are designed to safeguard workforce health, minimize workplace incidents, and foster a culture of well-being. These programs encompass proactive strategies, such as ergonomic assessments, safety training, and health screenings, to mitigate risks and enhance employee resilience. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing policies, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and analyzing incident trends to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the role involves promoting wellness activities, such as fitness programs, mental health resources, and educational workshops, to support overall employee well-being. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including HR, operations, and leadership, is essential to integrate these efforts into broader organizational goals. In partnership with the FQM Fitness & Rehabilitation Coordinator and Specialist Work Rehabilitation Support, design and execute comprehensive musculoskeletal injury prevention initiatives. Assist in the development and execution of employee fitness, conditioning, and hardening programs. Perform comprehensive evaluations of workplace ergonomics and offer strategic recommendations aimed at minimizing the risk of injuries. Conduct instructional sessions addressing injury prevention, safe manual handling techniques, stretching program implementation, workplace ergonomics optimization, physical fitness enhancement, and musculoskeletal health maintenance. Service Coordination Effectively collaborate with the Primary Care Physiotherapist and offsite Occupational Health Physiotherapist to ensure seamless coordination of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for employees. Provide referrals to the Primary Physiotherapist for access to specialized interventions, electrotherapy modalities, advanced rehabilitation equipment, and treatment services that are not available onsite. Attend collaborative rehabilitation case conferences alongside Occupational Health Physicians, Physiotherapy staff, and the FQM Fitness & Rehabilitation Coordinator. Maintain consistent and prompt updates on treatment progress, functional outcomes, rehabilitation goals, and return-to-work recommendations. Complex rehabilitation cases necessitating multidisciplinary collaboration should be escalated to the Occupational Health Physician as well as the FQM Fitness & Rehabilitation Coordinator for further intervention. Facilitate the seamless delivery of specialized treatment recommendations to maintain consistent and uninterrupted patient care. Facilitate consistent and professional communication with Occupational Health Doctors and other relevant healthcare practitioners. Participate actively in clinical meetings, rehabilitation reviews, and workplace health initiatives to ensure comprehensive collaboration and alignment with organizational goals. Assess existing service frameworks to pinpoint deficiencies and propose strategic enhancements. • •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
