Trade Zone Limited is actively seeking a seasoned Geologist to fill a key position in Lusaka. Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include performing geological mapping, collecting samples, and logging core data. Prepare technical reports and evaluate resource estimates for accuracy and relevance. Our role necessitates strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations to uphold operational integrity and protect all stakeholders. Conduct geological surveys, mapping, and sampling to document data accurately in both plans and the company’s GIS system. Developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control protocols. Analyze geochemical and geophysical datasets to delineate prospective ore deposits. Requirements and skills Educational Requirement: Completion of Grade 12 with a minimum of five (5) Ordinary Level (‘O’ Level) passes. Earned a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Earth Sciences, or an equivalent discipline. Affiliated with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (LIZ). Analytical aptitude and advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are essential. With a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the field of geology, candidates are expected to possess a strong foundation in geological principles and practices. Proficiency in geology principles, geological modeling techniques, and analytical problem-solving capabilities is essential.
