Job Description The NCD and RMN ACH Research Manager will serve as a key leadership position within Partners In Health (PIN), an internationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to delivering healthcare as a fundamental human right, particularly for marginalized communities. Headquartered in Boston, MA, PIN operates globally, including in Rwanda through its partner organization, Input Mu Burma (IMB), where it strengthens public health systems in underserved regions. The role is based primarily in Rwinkwavu with regular travel to Irene district, overseeing research initiatives across non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and reproductive, maternal, neonatal, adolescent, and child health (RMN ACH). The position requires advanced expertise in research design, implementation, and dissemination, ensuring scientific rigor while fostering collaboration between clinical, programmatic, and research teams. Key Responsibilities: – Research Leadership & Project Management: Develop, coordinate, and execute research projects within NCD and RMN ACH programs, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and ethical standards while maintaining data security and protocol adherence. – Methodological Oversight: Lead quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research, ensuring robust data collection, management, and analysis while supervising research staff and field teams. – Writing & Dissemination: Author high-impact research outputs, including manuscripts, grant proposals, and policy briefs, and present findings to stakeholders, government partners, and academic conferences. – Mentorship & Capacity Building: Guide junior researchers and clinical staff, enhancing research capabilities within IMB through targeted training and fostering a culture of evidence-based practice. – Quality Improvement: Drive data-driven quality improvement initiatives, translating findings into actionable programmatic enhancements and policy recommendations. Qualifications: – Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, Global Health, Social Sciences, or a related field. – Experience: Minimum five years in research, preferably within global health settings, with a strong track record in leading studies from conception to dissemination. – Technical Skills: Proficiency in STATE, R, SPSS, MAZDA, Vivo, Redcap, and survey administration, alongside expertise in qualitative data collection (interviews, focus groups, observations). – Language: Fluency in English and K
