Supervisors – Cleaning, Gardening & General Works
Kamwesa Zambia Limited is seeking experienced Supervisors to oversee teams of General Workers assigned to cleaning, gardening, and other general maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate General Workers within the assigned work area. Allocate daily duties and ensure that work is completed effectively and on time. Monitor employee attendance, punctuality and productivity. Ensure employees perform their assigned duties to the required standard. Provide guidance and instructions to General Workers. Monitor the quality of cleaning, gardening and general maintenance work. Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment and materials. Identify and report performance, safety or operational concerns to management. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Maintain daily work records and provide regular reports to management. Address minor work-related issues and escalate serious matters appropriately. Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent/Certificate in General Hospitality. Should be able to read and write. A certificate, diploma or other relevant qualification in General Hospitality/Housekeeping, Domestic Management or a related field will be an added advantage. Minimum 4 year’s experience supervising teams performing cleaning, gardening, grounds maintenance or similar general works. Proven ability to coordinate and supervise a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to delegate tasks and monitor employee performance. Ability to enforce workplace standards and procedures. Reliable, responsible and able to work under minimal supervision. Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timelines. Willingness to work day & night shifts, weekends or overtime when required. Valid Drivers Licence. Valid Police Clearance Certificate. Valid Medical Report.
