The purpose of the internship is to support the Social Policy section, particularly the Public Finance Management team, in developing and populating an internal online dashboard on child wellbeing and social sector financing. The intern will help compile, clean, organize and visualize data from national surveys and budget documents, ensuring that the dashboard is user-friendly, updateable and useful for UNICEF programme planning, advocacy and engagement with government and partners. Strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records Proficiency in English and knowledge of a local language is added advantage. Have strong communication, research, and organizational skills. Demonstrate experience working in Microsoft Excel and with data visualization tools such as Power BI is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to check data consistency and document sources clearly. Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and have no other relatives in the line of authority which the intern will report to.
