Technician – Plumbing
Job Type: Contract
Qualification: Diploma
Experience: 3 years
Location: Nandi
Job Field: Engineering / Technical
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
Providing technical support during training;
Maintaining workshop inventories by receiving and issuing tools and materials, and ensuring sufficient materials are available in the workshop;
Observing and ensuring that health and safety procedures are practised and enforced;
Ensuring proper usage, safe custody and inventory of kits, tools and equipment;
Undertaking repairs and maintenance in the area of specialization within the Institution;
Providing procurement specifications for all workshop equipment to be purchased.
Ensuring general cleanliness of the work area
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:
A Diploma in Building Technology and a Craft Certificate in Plumbing;
At least three (3) years of relevant experience;
Computer literacy.
