Warehouse Manager
Montaigne AH Limited, a leading luxury retail company, is recruiting for the position of Warehouse Manager. Today, Montaigne Place operations extend across retail, wholesale, spa & wellness, with its flagship retail division boasting a network of Forty (40) outlets throughout Nigeria, strategically located in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and other prominent cities. The company curates an impressive collection of sought-after brands in fragrances, skincare, and cosmetics, including exclusive names like Creed, Roja Parfum, Ajmal, The Spirit of Dubai, Parfums de Marly, Atelier des Ors, Yves Rocher, Murad, and more, as well as mainstream favorites such as Clarins, Chanel, YSL, Armani, Bulgari, Lancome, and others. Since its inception, Montaigne Place has become the ultimate destination for beauty and fragrance enthusiasts, offering over 3,000 products from more than 50 luxury brands worldwide. Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Overview: A Warehouse Manager ensures goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently, maintains inventory accuracy, supervises staff, and keeps the facility safe and compliant.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and direct daily operations: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and WMS reconciliation. Supervise and train warehouse staff, including forklift operators and pickers. Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and labor cost per unit. Ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards; conduct audits and incident investigations. Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space and productivity. Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments. Use WMS/ERP systems to track inventory, process orders, and generate reports. Implement process improvements, lean principles, and automation tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 – 8 years work experience.
Hard Skills: Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems, barcode scanners, and inventory software. Knowledge of logistics, freight coordination, and material handling protocols. Understanding of OSHA safety standards.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary: N450,000 – N500,000 monthly.
