Accountant
Dominion & Shalom LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy accountant to manage financial records, transactions, reporting, payroll, and accounting activities across the company's various business units.
Job Summary
This is a full-time position based in Ondo, Nigeria, with a working schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role requires an entry-level professional with at least one year of experience and proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
Record daily income, expenses, sales, and business transactions. Prepare daily sales reports and monthly financial statements. Maintain cashbooks and conduct bank reconciliations. Monitor bank transactions and cash movements. Process and monitor staff salary payments. Prepare invoices, receipts, and other financial documents. Monitor supplier payments and customer receivables. Prepare profit and loss reports and other management reports. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records. Monitor financial performance across the company's business units. Identify and report financial discrepancies. Ensure proper filing of financial documents.
Requirements
A minimum of an OND in accounting, finance, or a related field. 1–2 years' relevant accounting experience preferred. Good knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks is an advantage. ACA, ACCA, or ICAN qualification is an advantage. Honest, trustworthy, organized, and highly detail-oriented. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. Must reside in Akure. Must be willing to work from the main office and move between business locations when required.
