Registered Midwife – Grace Family Health Centre
Grace Family Health Centre is expanding its team and seeking dedicated professionals to join us. We are committed to providing excellent healthcare services to our community, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients.
Job Summary: The Registered Midwife will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care throughout pregnancy, labour, delivery, and the postnatal period.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide antenatal and postnatal care to mothers. Monitor pregnancies and identify potential complications. Conduct and assist with safe deliveries according to professional standards. Provide immediate care to newborns and mothers after delivery. Educate mothers on breastfeeding, nutrition, family planning, and newborn care. Recognize and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies. Maintain accurate maternity and patient records. Support reproductive and maternal health programmes.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Midwifery/Nursing and Midwifery. Valid registration and practicing licence. Relevant experience in maternity care is preferred. Compassionate, professional, and able to work effectively in a team.
