In 2024 alone, we served more than 2.8 million farmers, partnering closely with the government to advance national food security initiatives. We also facilitate funding and resources for promising arises, creating market opportunities for high-value crops such as coffee, avocado, and chili. We are seeking a highly skilled procurement and contracts professional with a minimum of two years of relevant experience to enhance our impact on farmers by driving cost efficiencies and coordinating contracting activities within the procurement department. Key Responsibilities: – Tender Management: Lead comprehensive tendering and contract execution for high-value goods and services, aligning with departmental procurement plans, setting 0–6 month strategic targets, establishing price baselines to maximize cost savings, and continuously refining sourcing processes for improved efficiency. – Contract Planning: Analyze annual expenditure across key categories to develop a quarterly-reviewed tender calendar, while conducting market research to enhance competition and contract efficacy. – Contract Management: Oversee full contract lifecycles and long-term agreements by monitoring price tolerances, managing change control systems, evaluating market risks, and reporting cost savings. – Supplier Performance Management: Conduct bi-annual vendor evaluations and monthly meetings with top suppliers to create performance improvement plans and enforce contractual obligations. – Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between external suppliers and One Acre Fund, while supporting internal procurement needs across teams.
