Its programs span non-communicable diseases (NCDs), oncology, surgery, and reproductive, maternal, neonatal, adolescent, and child health (RMN ACH), with Rwinkwavu serving as a central hub for NCD and surgical services and Irene district prioritizing maternal and reproductive health initiatives. The NCD & RMN ACH Research Manager will be primarily stationed in Rwinkwavu, with regular travel to Irene district, and will spearhead research initiatives across both portfolios—with a concentrated focus on NCDs. This role demands rigorous scientific leadership to ensure research integrity, operational excellence, and seamless alignment with clinical and programmatic teams. The ideal candidate will possess advanced methodological expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, exceptional scientific writing abilities, and a proven track record in managing research projects from inception to dissemination. Additionally, the position requires mentoring junior researchers and clinical staff in research practices and guiding quality improvement (QI) efforts to enhance program outcomes.
