Supply Chain Officer
Addoz Integrated Resources, on behalf of our client in the agro sector, is recruiting a Supply Chain Officer to join their team. The position is based in Lekki, Lagos, and is a full-time role.
Job Summary
Our client in the agro sector is seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, and export operations, with a good understanding of the processes involved in moving agricultural products from sourcing to local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations. Manage the movement of agricultural products from suppliers to warehouses, customers, and export destinations. Coordinate export documentation, shipping schedules, and logistics arrangements. Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation requirements, and international trade procedures. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movement to ensure timely deliveries. Track shipments and provide updates on delivery and export status. Support procurement and supplier management activities. Prepare and maintain accurate supply chain, logistics, and export records. Identify and resolve supply chain and logistics challenges. Monitor transportation costs and support cost-effective logistics planning. Ensure proper handling, packaging, and documentation of agro products for export.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably within the agro sector. Strong understanding of export operations and international trade procedures. Practical knowledge of export documentation, shipping processes, customs procedures, and freight forwarding. Experience coordinating the export of agricultural products will be a strong advantage. Good knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant supply chain/logistics software. Strong negotiation, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with suppliers, logistics providers, customers, and international partners.
Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 monthly.
