Job Summary The HSE Intern will contribute to the implementation and enhancement of Contour Global’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) Management System, fostering a workplace that prioritizes safety, health, and environmental responsibility. Under the supervision of the HSE Manager and HSE Officer, the intern will assist in ensuring compliance with HSE policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while gaining hands-on experience in power generation operations, maintenance, contractor management, environmental protection, and emergency response. Key Responsibilities Assist in the execution and refinement of the Company’s HSEQ Management System. Participate in routine HSE inspections across power plants, workshops, warehouses, offices, and operational sites. Support hazard identification, risk assessments (including JSA/JMA), and the implementation of risk mitigation measures. Monitor adherence to safe work practices, including Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Ragout (LOT), confined space entry, working at heights, lifting operations, hot work, and electrical safety protocols. Conduct safety observations, documenting unsafe acts, conditions, and near-miss incidents. Support incident and accident investigations through data collection, root cause analysis, and report preparation. Assist in environmental monitoring activities, such as waste segregation, hazardous waste handling, spill prevention, emissions tracking, and pollution control measures. Ensure proper use, inspection, and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Engage in emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire drills, spill response exercises, and evacuation simulations. Support the delivery of HSE inductions
