Grace Family Health Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our expanding team. We are committed to providing excellent healthcare services to our community, and we are looking for professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients.
Job Summary: The Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory investigations and support accurate and timely diagnosis by ensuring proper specimen handling, testing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, label, collect, and process patient specimens. Conduct routine laboratory tests according to approved procedures. Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment. Record, verify, and report test results accurately. Maintain laboratory quality control and safety standards. Monitor laboratory supplies and assist with stock management. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results. Observe infection prevention and waste-management procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma or relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology/Sciences. Valid registration and practicing licence with the relevant professional council. Relevant laboratory experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork.
