Financial reporting and analysis responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, developing forecasts, and assisting with budgeting processes. Perform monthly accounting close procedures, ensuring all deliverables—such as journal entries, casebook recording, invoice allocations, reconciliations, and reports—are completed accurately and promptly. This includes closing by the third working day (WD3), submitting one stream input by WD4, and providing supplementary schedules by WD5. Fixed Asset Register Maintenance Cashbook capturing The invoices must be captured and assigned accurately, ensuring proper documentation and allocation to the relevant accounts or cost centers. This process involves verifying invoice details, matching them with purchase orders and receipts, and recording them in the accounting system with precision. Timely and correct allocation is essential to maintain financial integrity and support efficient expense tracking and reporting. Statutory returns, including VAT and PAYE submissions, must be filed in accordance with regulatory requirements. Documenting and evaluating deficiencies in internal control systems. Oversee cashflow management by preparing and submitting a weekly cash forecast as well as a monthly account receivable report to Treasury.
