Teacher of Biology (Part-time 0.3)

St Andrew’s School, Turi is highly respected in Kenya and regarded as one of the leading international schools in East Africa. Numbering 550 pupils, it comprises two semi-autonomous schools: a Preparatory School of circa 220 pupils between the ages of 3 and 13 and a Senior School of circa 330 pupils between the ages of 13 and 18. It is fully coeducational.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Biology to join our Senior School on a part-time basis (0.3 FTE). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to contribute to a thriving academic environment.

• Establishing and developing a culture of excellence
• Ensuring delivery of excellent Biology provision at the Senior School
• Developing and improving the overall quality of academic provision
• Developing and delivering outstanding assessment for learning, in line with school policy
• Ensuring accurate reporting data and identifying trends to improve academic outcomes for allCandidate Profile:

• Experience in the outstanding delivery of the Biology curriculum and assessment materials

• First class oral and written communication, and presentation skills
