Specific Job Responsibility The position will involve the following key responsibilities and duties: To uphold both Company and Vendor Safety and Quality standards throughout the Installation and Maintenance phases, as well as during the Configuration of Field Bus Systems (including Profits and Ethernet) and Fiber Optical Systems, it is essential to ensure minimal disruption to Process Plant Operations or Production. Conducting Fault Analysis and Fault Finding on Field Bus Systems, including Profits/Ethernet and Fiber Optical Systems, to identify and resolve recurring issues, thereby enhancing the reliability and efficiency of Process Control Systems. A working knowledge of the Processing Plant’s Network Drawings, specifically as they pertain to the Control & Instrumentation Systems and associated Equipment, is required. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all modifications and red-line adjustments made to Systems and Network Drawings pertaining to Instrumentation. Engage proactively in the Reliability Improvement Programs and conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (CFA) for process plant equipment in accordance with established specifications. Analyzes components, equipment, and processes to establish maintenance requirements and assess their reliability. Performs a reliability-focused assessment of required resources for specific scenarios, tailoring the evaluation to each unique case while incorporating cost constraints. Review and improve PM’s Develop and implement the PMO Project “Preventive Maintenance Optimization” to ensure the ongoing effectiveness and currency of the Preventive Maintenance program. Collaborate effectively with planning and work execution teams to identify and address challenges associated with work instructions, aiming to enhance overall effectiveness and accuracy. Analyze the performance of project managers, assessing their effectiveness in preventing failures based on findings derived from root cause analysis. Facilitate the guidance and assistance of the execution team as they create detailed, standardized job roles. Equipment Strategies The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and sustaining the workflow processes associated with equipment strategies. Determine the optimal methodology for establishing equipment strategies. Review and revise equipment strategies as necessary, taking into account the findings from failure investigations. Monitor equipment performance via the asset health system, proactively identifying and addressing early indicators of potential failures to mitigate risks and ensure operational reliability. Guide the team in leveraging every available opportunity to reduce environmental impacts and optimize resource utilization, fostering sustainable development initiatives.
